One of the major astrological transits of 2022 involve the two Lunar Nodes changing zodiac signs, setting the stage for the next 18 months until July 2023. The lunar nodes are not physical planets but two opposite points in the sky - it’s a mathematical point between the Sun and the Moon. On Jan 18, the North Node moves into Taurus and the South Node moved into Scorpio. The North Node represents our future and our destiny while the South Node represents our past – we need to find the balance between both these energies in order to fulfill our karmic destiny. The North Node will be in Taurus which is an Earth sign represented by the Bull. It’s steady and confident and has stubborn tendencies – it prefers stability and doesn’t like change. Taurus is ruled by Venus which is all about love, relationships, money, self worth and abundance. Whichever house Taurus is in your chart is the house where you will see these themes play out. This is the house where you will be building. On the other hand, the South Node will be in Scorpio which is a ruled by Pluto, the planet of power. This is the area where you will have to let go. There will be a need to balance the stubbornness of Taurus with the power hungry tendencies of Pluto. Are you too stubborn and resistant to change? Do you have control issues? Or do you allow others to have more power over you? Are there self esteem issues? These are just some of the areas that will be highlighted in the next 18 months.
